Project Phases

Phase 1 – Estimation. The 1st Avenue Advisors project team will gain a general understanding of the business and determine if claiming the credit is advantageous for you.   

Phase 2 – Study. We work with your business to gather the appropriate information and documentation needed to validate the qualified research activities and expenses. Toward the end of the Phase 2, your 1st Avenue Advisors study team will deliver all the information needed for your CPA to properly file your Form 6765 to report your Research Credits. 

Phase 3 – Reporting, we deliver the underlying information about your Research Credits to you. The Report will document how the credit was determined, what information was used, and how that information is supported.

2. Site Visit & Engineering Analysis 
Our specialists conduct a site review and perform a detailed engineering-based analysis to reclassify various building components into the proper depreciation categories. 

3. Report Delivery & Ongoing Support 
You receive an IRS compliant, audit-ready report with clear implementation instructions. After delivery, we remain available to answer questions during tax filing or any audit process.
